About the Role
You will be the integral part in connecting with key stakeholders linking grant prospects to our strategy. As part of the role, you will research the landscape to build business cases aligning with key programs at City of Ryde.
You will be the driving force in enhancing our grant schemes ensuring the business continues to work effectively with Council’s priorities. You will have the opportunity to enhance the function, paving the way to create success. We are looking for a solutions driven person who can think outside the square to deliver results.
This role will enable you to expand your knowledge, work with people who are passionate about the community and use your initiative to take our business to the next level!
About You
You will be proactively exploring funding opportunities working to support community initiatives and be influential in the future vision of City of Ryde - living our values and empowering our people.
In addition, you will also have:
- Demonstrated experience in identifying, preparing, and managing successful grant applications from government and non-government funding bodies.
- Proven ability to assess funding opportunities and develop high-quality grant submissions aligned with strategic priorities.
- Experience coordinating submissions, including collaboration with internal stakeholders, external partners, and funding agencies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to translate technical or project-based information into clear and compelling funding support.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with staff, community organisations, and funding agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple funding applications and projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance with deadlines, reporting obligations, and funding criteria.
Your commencing annual salary will range from $108 604.71 to $141,186.12 + Superannuation, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
