About the Role 

The City of Ryde has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer experienced in the design of civil infrastructure and related projects to join our team based at North Ryde.

You will provide design and technical support for capital projects listed in the One Year Operational Plan, Four Year Delivery Plan, and additional projects initiated during the operational year. This role requires expertise in delivering high-quality, sustainable designs that meet project objectives and timelines. 

In addition you will also have:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • WH&S Construction Certificate (White Card)
  • C class drivers Licence
  • Proven experience in preparation of design documentation and cost estimates for multi-disciplinary projects
  • Excellent computer skills and proven experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Drains.
  • Excellent knowledge of legislation, regulations, design standards, and code of practice relating to the design, construction and management of civil based project.
Your commencing annual salary will range from $100,088.56 - $112,003.84 p.a. + 3.5 % civil liability allowance + superannuation is negotiable depending on your qualifications and experience.
